Programme Coordinator (Migration Management) International Organization for Migration Position Overview As Programme Coordinator for Migration Management at the International Organization for Migration in Kenya, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation and coordination of comprehensive migration management initiatives across the country. Reporting directly to the Head of Programme and Policy Development and working under the Chief of Mission's strategic direction, you will oversee a dynamic portfolio spanning labour mobility, immigration and border governance, and migrant protection. Key Responsibilities Your core function will involve steering the execution of migration management programmes while ensuring alignment with Kenya's evolving mobility landscape. You will take ownership of country-specific policies and strategies addressing labour mobility, immigration frameworks, border governance systems, and comprehensive migrant protection measures. Your proactive approach will extend to identifying emerging migration management gaps and conceptualizing innovative projects and programmes to address these critical needs. You will serve as the central coordination hub, collaborating seamlessly with Programme Managers, Sub-Office leadership, and the Regional Thematic Specialist. Close working partnerships with relevant Headquarters divisions, departments, and units will ensure your initiatives maintain global alignment while remaining contextually relevant to Kenya's unique circumstances. Your oversight responsibilities include monitoring programme implementation timelines, quality assurance, resource optimization, and impact measurement across all migration management activities. Required Qualifications and Experience This position demands a background in migration management, international development, or related policy fields. Demonstrated experience coordinating complex multi-stakeholder programmes is essential.
