KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and execute sushi dishes with precision, demonstrating thorough knowledge of different sushi varieties and authentic Japanese cold kitchen techniques Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations in all kitchen operations Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks under pressure while delivering solutions that are both creative and practical Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with kitchen staff, hotel personnel, and guests Organize your workstation and time efficiently to meet service demands consistently Demonstrate responsibility and professionalism in all interactions, upholding ethical standards and confidentiality Operate within safe and organized practices at all times, contributing to a well-functioning kitchen environment QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Kenyan citizen Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Food and Beverage Management or Hospitality Management Minimum 2 years of hands-on kitchen experience Strong command of verbal, written, and oral communication in English Computer literacy with proficiency in culinary-related software and systems Professional demeanor with commitment to excellence, integrity, and discretion Willingness to embrace flexibility, take initiative, and support team goals
