The Role As a Field Engineer - Wireline, you will be the technical backbone supporting multiple customer projects at wellsites across our operational areas. You'll provide expert guidance, identify operational improvements, and ensure the delivery of quality wireline services. This is a hands-on position where your technical expertise directly impacts project success and customer satisfaction. Your Key Responsibilities You will develop and analyze solutions to moderately complex technical problems encountered during wireline operations at the wellsite. Your day-to-day work includes coordinating operations with drilling crews and production facilities, supervising equipment at both wellsite and shop locations, and mentoring less experienced engineers and technical personnel. You'll maintain detailed records of all assemblies as run, advise customer representatives on logging and completions operations, interpret logging data, and conduct thorough wellsite analysis and troubleshooting. Additionally, you'll support the district with other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For You should hold a University Degree in Engineering or Applied Science with at least five years of hands-on experience in oilfield wireline operations and services, particularly TCP (Tubing Conveyed Perforating) applications. You need thorough understanding and demonstrated competency in wireline operations, with the ability to identify appropriate products and services for both simple and complex applications. Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external customers are essential, along with the capacity to work effectively within team environments while solving critical operational issues.
