PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT AND ADVOCACY ADVISOR Peace Brigades International - PBI Kenya About the Role Peace Brigades International is seeking an experienced and committed Civil Peace Service Worker to join our Kenya office as a Programme Development and Advocacy Advisor. This is a pivotal position that will directly support the execution and advancement of PBI Kenya's initiatives in close collaboration with the Co-Coordinators and the broader organisational team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving programme implementation, designing innovative projects, spearheading advocacy efforts, cultivating stakeholder relationships, mobilising resources through fundraising, and fostering continuous organisational learning. Your contributions will strengthen PBI Kenya's vital protection services for human rights defenders and community-based organisations while ensuring the organisation's growth and strategic direction for years to come. Key Responsibilities Programme Implementation and Development (40% of your time) You will deliver hands-on technical assistance to execute PBI Kenya's programmes, including the Civil Peace Service initiative. This includes organising and facilitating targeted activities, supporting capacity-building workshops for partner organisations, and ensuring smooth programme delivery across all initiatives. You will work closely with the programme team to monitor activities and ensure they achieve their intended outcomes while maintaining high standards of quality and impact.
