Job Description
PROSPECTS Kenya: Digital Local Services Marketplace Implementation Partner
International Labour Organization (ILO) — Turkana and Garissa Counties
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The International Labour Organization is looking for a dynamic organization—either a for-profit enterprise or a non-profit entity—to lead the implementation of digital local services marketplace initiatives across the PROSPECTS Kenya programme. This is a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in the employment landscape for some of Kenya's most underserved populations.
SCOPE AND IMPACT
Your organization will drive the expansion of digital marketplace solutions designed to connect refugee and host community youth with genuine work opportunities in Turkana and Garissa counties. The focus is clear: create pathways to quality employment for young people who face significant barriers in traditional labour markets.
Kenya's youth face substantial employment challenges. Population growth has outpaced job creation, leaving young people wrestling with unemployment and underemployment rates that far exceed national averages. This assignment directly addresses that gap by building accessible digital infrastructure for economic participation.
