Senior Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js) Arfa Technology Ltd We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and help build high-performance, accessible client web architectures for enterprise cloud platforms and web portals serving customers across Africa. In this role, you'll take ownership of building scalable frontend solutions that prioritize user experience and performance. You'll work with modern tools and frameworks to create interfaces that perform reliably even on variable network conditions, and you'll have a genuine focus on optimizing Core Web Vitals and delivering fast, responsive applications. What We're Looking For You bring at least 4 years of hands-on production experience building applications with React and Next.js. You're proficient in TypeScript and understand how to write clean, maintainable code at scale. You have a demonstrated ability to optimize web performance and can articulate why metrics like Largest Contentful Paint, First Input Delay, and Cumulative Layout Shift matter. Beyond technical skills, you're someone who thinks about the user experience holistically. You understand accessibility standards and can advocate for inclusive design practices within your team. You're comfortable working with design systems, collaborating with product teams, and translating requirements into elegant frontend implementations. You're also comfortable with version control workflows, can contribute meaningfully to code reviews, and understand the importance of testing in maintaining code quality.
