Job Description

AFTER-SALES & WORKSHOP OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE About Sokify Sokify is Kenya's leading online marketplace, connecting buyers and sellers across multiple categories. We're proud to feature premium job opportunities from top employers in the region. The Role Excelon Limited is seeking an experienced and commercially minded After-Sales & Workshop Operations Executive to lead and expand a thriving automotive workshop operation. This is a senior operational position that demands someone with comprehensive understanding of vehicle workshop management, customer relations, accident repair coordination, insurance processes, team leadership and business growth strategy. Your Responsibilities As the driving force behind daily workshop operations, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of vehicle repairs—from initial reception and assessment through repair execution, quality assurance and final handover. You'll strategically allocate jobs to technicians, monitor work progress and ensure all repairs meet agreed timelines while maintaining quality standards and minimising rework. Your role extends beyond operations to encompass meaningful customer engagement. You'll serve as the primary connection between customers and the workshop, understanding their needs, preparing detailed quotations and work orders, and keeping them informed throughout the repair journey. Building strong customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals is central to this position. You will manage the complete accident repair process, collaborating with customers, insurance companies and assessors while maintaining meticulous documentation and ensuring timely completion. Simultaneously, you'll actively pursue new business opportunities, particularly within fleet servicing and corporate accounts, directly contributing to workshop revenue growth and operational capacity. Leadership is essential. You'll supervise workshop technicians and staff, allocate work effectively, monitor productivity and foster a culture of discipline, teamwork and professional excellence. You'll also oversee commercial performance through regular monitoring of sales metrics, job turnaround times, productivity levels and profitability. Required Qualifications and Experience You should hold a Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. You'll need at least five years of hands-on experience in automotive workshop operations, after-sales management, fleet services or comparable environments, with demonstrated success supervising technical and workshop teams. Practical expertise in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair processes is non-negotiable, as is direct experience with accident repair and insurance coordination. You must be proficient with job cards, quotations and workshop cost management systems, and possess a proven track record in customer service and business development. A valid driving licence is required. Essential Competencies Look for candidates who excel at workshop operations management, possess strong automotive technical knowledge and demonstrate exceptional customer service capabilities. They should show competence in accident and insurance repair coordination, business development and sales, fleet customer management and staff supervision. We value strong communicators and negotiators with excellent problem-solving abilities, commercial awareness and strong planning and organisational skills. The successful candidate must thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards. The Ideal Candidate You're someone who can do far more than advise on services. You can manage a busy workshop, lead a motivated team, engage customers professionally, coordinate complex accident repairs, cultivate valuable business relationships and generate sustainable workshop revenue. If you've successfully managed high-volume service operations, large vehicle fleets or busy accident-repair environments, we encourage your application. How to Apply Submit your CV to recruitment@excelon.co.ke with the subject line: AFTER-SALES & WORKSHOP OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE Application Deadline: 10 October 2026 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
