POSITION OVERVIEW BRAC International is actively recruiting a Head of HR for its Africa Region, based in Nairobi, Kenya. This senior leadership role offers the chance to shape human resources strategy across a vibrant, diverse organization operating throughout East and West Africa. The Africa Region spans seven countries including Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda, with a workforce exceeding 4,000 dedicated professionals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In this position, you will serve as the primary HR leader for the Africa Region, reporting directly to the Regional Director. Your mandate includes strengthening HR functions across all Country Offices while managing Central Office operations in Nairobi. You will work in close partnership with the Dhaka Central Office HR team to ensure consistent, effective people management strategies. Core duties encompass tailoring HR policies to reflect regional and country contexts, ensuring full compliance with established guidelines, investigating policy breaches thoroughly, and implementing appropriate corrective measures. You will provide strategic support to Country Offices on HR-critical matters while maintaining organizational standards and protecting institutional integrity.
