THE OPPORTUNITY We're seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Director of our Kenya office. WHAT YOU'LL DO As Director, you will lead the Kenya office with strategic direction while maintaining hands-on involvement across our core service areas. Your responsibilities include developing and executing integrated communications and advocacy strategies that serve client needs while positioning GHS as a trusted partner across Africa and beyond. You'll simplify complex global health and development concepts for diverse audiences through compelling content including key messages, fact sheets, speeches, briefing documents, press releases, opinion pieces, multimedia content and social media campaigns. You'll build and nurture robust networks across media, client and stakeholder communities, identifying key contacts, conceptualizing strategic pitches and developing strong relationships with reporters, editors and influential figures across national, regional and international outlets. You'll elevate client visibility and positioning through speaking opportunities, media interviews, panel appearances and thought leadership moments. You'll provide strategic counsel to clients on communications challenges, including crisis response when needed. You'll manage event projects from concept through execution, overseeing agenda development, speaker selection, partner engagement and on-ground coordination. Throughout all activities, you'll demonstrate the sophisticated understanding of Africa's media and communications landscape, communication best practices and emerging content trends necessary to drive results in this dynamic environment.
