MIXOLOGIST / BARISTA – PALACINA, NAIROBI Palacina, a boutique luxury hotel and residence in Nairobi, is looking for a skilled and charismatic Mixologist with Barista expertise to enhance our Food & Beverage operations. ABOUT THE POSITION You will be responsible for creating and presenting sophisticated cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages while preparing premium coffee drinks to exacting standards. Your role extends beyond drink preparation—you will engage guests with confidence and warmth, drawing on deep product knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality. The position demands creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain an immaculate, efficient bar operation while consistently exceeding guest expectations. KEY DUTIES Create and serve high-quality cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages with precision and presentation Prepare premium coffee beverages maintaining consistent quality and barista excellence Build meaningful connections with guests through knowledgeable, personable service Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times Uphold Palacina's service standards and prioritize guest satisfaction Operate POS systems including MICROS and Symphony platforms REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Documented experience working as a Mixologist or Bartender with established Barista skills in a quality hospitality setting Comprehensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail preparation and presentation Proficient barista abilities with strong understanding of specialty coffee preparation methods Hands-on experience with MICROS or Symphony POS systems Strong verbal and written communication with excellent interpersonal abilities Professional demeanor combined with an energetic, guest-centric approach Proven capability to perform effectively in high-volume, fast-paced service environments Applications accepted through LinkedIn Easy Apply only.
