The Role As Dispatch Coordinator, you will play a vital role in overseeing truck dispatch operations while maintaining strict adherence to client protocols. Your primary objective is to ensure every dispatch is executed safely, on schedule, and with complete efficiency, supported by accurate documentation and comprehensive data management in line with business unit goals. Core Responsibilities You will be responsible for issuing drivers with all required documentation including invoices, dispatch notes, HTOs, and GAN paperwork. Processing all dispatch-related documents is essential, ensuring they are received, properly debriefed into the system, and archived according to schedule. You will manage the circulation of dispatch data within established KPIs and serve as the liaison between warehouse and transport operations to maintain seamless workflow. Your role includes attending monthly operations meetings to discuss site performance and profitability metrics alongside team members. You will identify and implement operational improvements using First Choice tools, with focus on delivering continuous enhancement to gross profit margins. Strong communication across all teams is critical, keeping stakeholders informed about changes, delays, and relevant updates. Supporting KBL Transport Executors in daily operations ensures completion of all assigned tasks. You will escalate documentation issues promptly and ensure adherence to relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures. All dispatches must be executed through the TRAMM mobile application with coordinated updates. You will ensure full compliance with DPDHL policies and support safety engagement initiatives on site, including incident investigation reviews and escalation of non-compliance issues. Risk analysis is a key component of this position. You will evaluate health and safety risks for both company fleet and subcontracted drivers, implementing measures to reduce or eliminate identified hazards. Additional duties include timely POD follow-up, prompt DCT trip closure, and ensuring on-time dispatch and complete deliveries. Qualifications and Experience Required You must hold a Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent qualification. A minimum of three years proven experience in transportation dispatch, ideally within the logistics sector, is essential. Proficiency with transportation management systems and route optimization software is required. Strong understanding of distribution and transport methodologies is necessary, along with working knowledge of packaging and warehousing practices. You should possess relevant professional qualifications and demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
