DOMAIN CONSULTANT (PRESALES)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant (Presales) to join our growing team. In this remote role, you'll be instrumental in guiding customers through their network security and zero trust transformation journeys. You'll combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to architect solutions that address customers' most critical business security challenges, while positioning Palo Alto Networks as their trusted cybersecurity partner.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work hand-in-hand with sales teams to develop and recommend customer-specific solutions within your area of specialization, ensuring technical alignment with business objectives.
Serve as the trusted technical authority when engaging with customers across all organizational levels, from IT practitioners to C-suite executives.
Design and lead compelling customer demonstrations that highlight our competitive advantages and unique value proposition in network security.
Drive technical validation projects for prospective customers and partners, applying industry best practices to secure technical wins across your assigned opportunities.
Architect comprehensive security solutions that help customers strengthen and simplify their overall security posture.
Create detailed high-level design documentation and articulate key use cases to facilitate proper implementation and maximize the value customers realize from Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Lead meaningful discussions about industry trends, emerging security threats, and the evolving threat landscape.
Articulate product capabilities, demonstrate alignment with customer requirements, and clearly communicate our competitive differentiation in the marketplace.
Function as the primary technical contact for all network security matters, collaborating effectively with internal teams and customers to respond to RFIs and RFPs.
Position Palo Alto Networks and partner-delivered services appropriately to ensure successful implementation and optimal solution value realization.
Evaluate competitive offerings with credibility and position Palo Alto Networks as the superior alternative.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven presales or sales engineering experience specializing in Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE technologies.
Excellent communication and customer engagement abilities, with strong problem-solving orientation.
Track record of working effectively with customers, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Comprehensive technical knowledge of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.
Deep technical understanding of both on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
