THE ROLE As a Domain Consultant in Presales, you'll be the technical backbone of our customer relationships, guiding organizations through their network security transformation and zero trust journeys. You'll work across the full spectrum of solutions—from on-premises infrastructure to cloud deployments and security services—positioning Palo Alto Networks as the trusted cybersecurity partner that truly understands our customers' business imperatives. This is a remote position where your expertise and problem-solving abilities drive real results across geographies. You'll own the technical narrative, translate complex security concepts into strategic business solutions, and become the go-to expert customers rely on at every organizational level. WHAT YOU'LL DO Partner with sales teams to design and recommend tailored customer solutions aligned with your technical specialization Present technical insights and thought leadership to customers ranging from hands-on practitioners to C-suite executives Design and deliver compelling customer demonstrations that highlight our competitive advantages and unique value Own technical validation projects for prospective customers and partners, ensuring implementations succeed from day one Architect comprehensive security solutions that help customers strengthen and simplify their overall security posture Create detailed design documentation and use case frameworks to support proper implementation and maximize customer value realization Drive conversations about industry trends, emerging threats, and the evolving security landscape Articulate how Palo Alto Networks solutions directly address customer requirements and outperform competitors Serve as the primary technical contact for network security matters, responding effectively to RFIs and RFPs with confidence and credibility Evaluate competitive offerings and position Palo Alto Networks solutions as the superior choice Coordinate with delivery partners to ensure seamless implementation and full value realization for customers WHAT YOU BRING Proven presales or sales engineering experience in Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, SASE, or SSE environments Exceptional communication skills paired with a natural ability to solve complex customer problems Demonstrated success collaborating directly with customers, showcasing resourcefulness and a solution-oriented mindset Deep technical knowledge of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions Advanced expertise in both on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION Palo Alto Networks is an equal opportunity employer.
