ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be part of the administrative team within the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Kenya Country Office in Nairobi, working under the direct supervision of your unit supervisor. This position offers the opportunity to support critical human rights operations through reliable and professional transportation services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will encompass a range of driving and vehicle-related duties essential to the smooth operation of the office. You will be responsible for safely operating assigned vehicles, maintaining them in optimal condition, and ensuring timely transport of staff and materials to various locations. Your work will directly contribute to the effective delivery of human rights programs across Kenya.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this position, you should possess:
- A valid, professional-grade driving license demonstrating your competence and safety record
- Substantial driving experience with a proven track record of reliability and professionalism
- A strong understanding of vehicle maintenance requirements and road safety protocols
- Fluency in English and local languages to facilitate communication with colleagues and stakeholders
- Excellent professional conduct, discretion, and ability to work within a multicultural environment
