THE OPPORTUNITY The Operations Associate plays a critical role in managing daily order operations across our Nairobi kitchen locations. You will serve as the central hub connecting chefs, delivery riders, customer support personnel, and technology systems to ensure every order meets our standards for accuracy, timing, and quality. This position demands adaptability and problem-solving in a high-energy environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will monitor and process incoming orders across multiple delivery platforms and internal systems while coordinating order preparation, packaging, and dispatch to maintain delivery timelines. Working alongside kitchen teams, you'll identify priorities and eliminate operational bottlenecks, then coordinate with riders to ensure efficient pickups and reliable delivery execution. Your oversight will verify that each order meets our accuracy, presentation, and packaging standards before leaving the kitchen. Real-time issue resolution forms a significant part of your day, as you'll address concerns from customers, riders, and operational teams promptly. You'll track performance metrics including preparation times, dispatch times, and order accuracy rates while assisting with packaging inventory management and operational supplies. Food safety compliance and facility cleanliness standards fall within your purview, and you'll contribute to daily reporting and ongoing operational improvements. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline. Previous experience spanning one year or more in operations, hospitality, logistics, retail, food service, or customer service represents a valuable advantage. You demonstrate exceptional organisational ability and manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus. Your communication and problem-solving skills are strong, enabling you to navigate complex situations with composure. You thrive in fast-paced operational settings and maintain meticulous attention to detail with genuine ownership of outcomes. Practical experience using Google Sheets, Excel, and other digital systems rounds out your profile.
