PROJECT OFFICER – FISHERIES AND BEEKEEPING SOKIFY LISTING Employer: European Committee for Agricultural Training (CEFA) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Officer to drive initiatives across Kenya's fisheries and beekeeping sectors as part of the AGROBLUE initiative – a forward-thinking programme dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and blue economy development throughout Kenya. Role Details As Project Officer, you will be based in Kwale County, with regular missions to Tana River County consuming approximately 40 percent of your working time. This is a fixed-term appointment for one year, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs. Key Responsibilities Your role encompasses managing and coordinating project activities within the fisheries and beekeeping components of AGROBLUE. You will work directly with local stakeholders, community partners, and beneficiaries to ensure sustainable development outcomes and promote active participation throughout project implementation. About CEFA The European Committee for Training and Agriculture is an internationally recognized Italian NGO founded in 1972. Operating across Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, CEFA specialises in medium and long-term development interventions. The organisation prioritises sustainable community development through agricultural advancement, environmental stewardship, and human rights promotion, always working alongside local counterparts and ensuring beneficiary participation. Compensation and Start Date This position offers a gross monthly salary of KES 80,000 to KES 100,000, determined according to your experience and professional qualifications. The expected start date is July 2026.
