ReDSS Kenya Policy Coordinator Danish Refugee Council About ReDSS The Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat (ReDSS) brings together a coalition of 14 NGOs dedicated to creating lasting solutions for displaced populations across East Africa. Hosted by the Danish Refugee Council and headquartered in Nairobi, ReDSS operates with additional country units in Somalia and Ethiopia. The organization functions as a central coordination and information resource, driving forward research initiatives, knowledge management systems, targeted program support, capacity strengthening activities, and policy advocacy efforts. ReDSS governance is led by a Steering Committee representing the Danish Refugee Council, International Rescue Committee, and Norwegian Refugee Council. Learn more at regionaldss.org Role Overview As ReDSS Kenya Policy Coordinator, you will champion advocacy and policy implementation across Kenya's national and local levels. Working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, you will develop and advance sustainable solutions that benefit both refugee populations and host communities. This position requires close coordination with the Kenya Manager to strengthen ReDSS's overall presence and impact in-country. You will serve as the key representative for ReDSS member organizations in policy forums and coordination platforms, ensuring their voices and priorities shape Kenya's approach to displacement and durable solutions.
