SALES & SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE – CLEAN ORGANIC SKIN CARE PRODUCTS Company: Career Directions Limited (CDL) Location: Nairobi, Kenya Reports To: CEO ABOUT THE ROLE Career Directions Limited is looking for a dynamic Sales & Social Media Executive to drive the success of our clean organic skin care product line. In this pivotal position, you will manage the complete product journey—from conception through development, testing, and market launch—while ensuring each offering aligns with our brand values, regulatory standards, and customer expectations. You'll partner closely with our sales and marketing teams to guarantee consistent achievement of sales targets across all retail channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Guide the full product lifecycle, including planning, development, quality testing, market introduction, and performance evaluation post-launch Work collaboratively with biochemists, product development specialists, and marketing professionals to maintain exceptional quality and brand coherence Track product performance metrics, identify emerging market trends, and gather customer insights to inform strategic planning Ensure complete regulatory compliance by liaising with KEBS, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, and relevant quality assurance bodies Create and execute effective sales strategies that enable store locations to meet and surpass monthly and quarterly revenue goals Coach and inspire in-store teams to deepen product expertise, master upselling techniques, and deliver outstanding customer service Stay connected with suppliers, key stakeholders, and leadership regarding stock levels, product enhancements, and sales outcomes Compile detailed performance reports and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Educational Background and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline Two to three years working in product management, ideally within beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors Demonstrated track record of boosting product or retail store sales performance Core Competencies Strong leadership capabilities with solid analytical and project management expertise Superior written and verbal communication with excellent relationship-building skills Knowledge of beauty industry movements, organic product formulations, and what drives customer choices Capacity to work across departments and juggle multiple concurrent projects Nice to Have Strategic mindset with natural instinct for brand development and market positioning Familiarity with sales analytics platforms and performance measurement systems Genuine commitment to organic and sustainable beauty innovation
