Job Description
SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT 2
Palo Alto Networks (GEO) B.V.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Solutions Consultant at Palo Alto Networks, you'll be the technical architect behind our customers' cybersecurity transformation. This role bridges the gap between complex security challenges and innovative solutions, positioning you as a strategic advisor who helps organizations understand their environment, chart their security roadmap, and maximize the value of their investment with us. You'll combine technical expertise with business acumen to guide customers through their digital security journey while driving adoption across our platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your primary focus will be translating customer business imperatives into robust technical solutions that span our entire portfolio. You'll conduct thorough discovery sessions to understand each customer's unique security landscape, then design and present strategic solutions that address their operational and commercial needs. Your ability to simplify complex security concepts for diverse audiences—from technical teams to C-suite executives—will be crucial.
You'll work closely with sales teams to exceed quotas by building comprehensive account plans targeting cross-platform solutions. Collaborating with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams, you'll shepherd customers through implementation and adoption, ensuring they realize genuine business value. Your responsibilities also include conducting technical validation efforts, leading security architecture workshops, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
You'll stay competitive by understanding the broader cybersecurity landscape and effectively articulating why Palo Alto Networks leads in this space. Whether it's Network Security, SASE, Cloud Security, SOC transformation, or endpoint solutions, you'll champion end-to-end approaches that include professional services partnerships for faster value realization.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You'll bring a minimum of six years in pre-sales or sales engineering, with demonstrable expertise in at least one of these areas: Network Security, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security (private or public), SOC operations, Endpoint security, or SASE. Your background should include delivering cybersecurity solutions to complex technical challenges, ideally while influencing new business initiatives.
You're skilled at creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, and conducting hands-on validation engagements. Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC Transformation technologies is essential. You've successfully navigated complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and multi-product implementations.
You understand how to partner with support functions to ensure implementation success and can influence stakeholders both customer-facing and internally. Your track record demonstrates the ability to build relationships, think strategically, and drive adoption at scale.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
This is a remote position with flexibility across geographies. The role may occasionally require travel to support in-person customer meetings—specific travel expectations should be discussed during your conversation with the recruiting team.
WHAT WE VALUE
At Palo Alto Networks, we're guided by five core values: Disruption, Collaboration, Execution, Integrity, and Inclusion. We're building a culture where trust and accountability matter, where every voice is heard, and where your work directly impacts how we protect the digital world. We believe diverse teams drive innovation, and we're committed to providing reasonable accommodations for all qualified candidates.
