In Kenya, the organization operates under the brand Tupande, having established its presence in the country since 2006. The Kakamega headquarters employs close to 500 staff who coordinate with 1,747 field officers to serve over 1 million farmers across the region. An additional 50 staff members based in Nairobi support critical global functions including procurement, recruitment, government relations, and cross-border operations.
THE ROLE
This is a fixed-term position offering the opportunity to lead biochar production initiatives that align with One Acre Fund's commitment to sustainable farming practices and environmental stewardship. You will oversee production coordination, quality assurance, and distribution processes while working alongside passionate teams dedicated to farmer empowerment.
