Chief Program Officer (CPO)

CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER (CPO) Living Goods is recruiting a Chief Program Officer to drive strategic direction and operational excellence across its global program portfolio. In this pivotal leadership role, you will shape organizational priorities, champion evidence-based program delivery at scale, and spearhead the performance, evidence, and insights function. Your mandate spans setting ambitious program strategy, orchestrating disciplined geographic expansion, cultivating robust donor partnerships, and nurturing a culture rooted in excellence and continuous improvement across the global programs team. A cornerstone of this position involves advancing Living Goods' innovation agenda by integrating digital health technologies and data systems that amplify community health worker effectiveness and impact. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE You bring a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, ideally public health, international development, or business administration. Your professional background demonstrates at least 15 years of leadership experience in global health, international development, or allied sectors, with substantial experience in sub-Saharan Africa. You possess a demonstrated track record delivering large-scale, multi-country programs with proficiency in blending program expertise with technology solutions. Your experience managing and developing senior leadership teams is established and proven. You have successfully navigated donor relationships, led fundraising initiatives, and managed grants effectively throughout your career. Additional advantages include private sector background and bilingual fluency in French and English. The role requires strategic thinking that translates program challenges into technology opportunities, alongside readiness to travel as required.
